CSX2000, this is the first Shelby Cobra ever built, it has been owned by Carroll Shelby personally since it was built and is in its original condition. This car was used in many magazine articles in the day, the car was repainted several times, from magazine to magazine, to give the impression there was more than one of these first Shelby Cobras. Shelby America took the antiquated AC Ace chassis from England, inserted a small block Ford V8 and reengineered the car to handle.
