The Hawk was introduced in 1956, the new name for their coupe. Available in 4 models in 1956; the pillared 6 cyl Flight Hawk and V8 Power Hawk also Hardtops 289 V8 Sky Hawk and 352 V8 Golden Hawk. The Flight and Power Hawk were replaced by the Silver Hawk in 1957. In 1959 the Silver Hawk was the only model available and in 1960 was known just as the Hawk. The 1961 cars were similar to 1960, they did get an extra chrome strip below the fins on the rear quarter. From 1962-64 it was the Gran Turismo Hawk |
