Description
English: Illustration of a vintage Soap Box Derby racer designed, constructed and piloted by Joseph M. Harmon of Greensboro, NC. Joe, who won the 1959 local Championship in Greensboro, went on to compete at the 22nd All-American World Championship in Akron, OH. The extant car was donated in 1993 to the Greensboro Historic Museum and exhibited as recent as 2019. Illustration is by Bill Wrigley.
