English: Made in an era before air conditioning when fans were extremely important, Fan Family Album, an industrial musical made by Cinécraft Productions for Westinghouse, traces the history of fans from the 1890s to 1954. Women in swimsuits for each period are used to introduce the different fans. The film ends with a grand musical number on Westinghouse. Ray Culley directed the film. Glen Bammann is the narrator. Harry Horrocks is the head cinematographer. Paul Culley does the sound recording. Ken Banes does special lyrics. The musical score is by Arthur Gordon. Cinecraft project number: A-208 and E-105. Listed in Business Screen in February 1954. |

Source | This studio production photo was taken by a photographer working for Ray and Betty Culley, owners of Cinécraft Productions, a Cleveland, Ohio, motion picture studio. Ray and Betty Culley were my father and mother. They left this photo and a number of other production photos and early studio films and records to my brothers and me. In 2019 our families donated the materials to Hagley Museum and Library to preserve as as collection of early films and TV programs under a non exclusive usage agreement.
