Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This is a 1950 Bedford Duple OB (27 Seater) 'Toast Rack' bus

Owned and operated by Lodges of High Easter Named “Ede”, this OB was new to Western National in 1950. It was converted to an open-sided “toast rack” seaside runabout by Lincolnshire Reed Car for use at Butlins, Skegness and preserved until recently in that operator's livery. It is now part of Lodges of High Easter vintage fleet. It passed through a number of operators before being acquired by Lodges in 2011. Both sides have detachable window panels that are fitted for use in less clement weather.
