Summary
[edit]Description1950 Allard K2 Coupé in Red, front right (Greenwich 2021).jpg |
English: A 1950 Allard K2 Coupé in Red, on display at the 2021 Greenwich Concours d'Elegance. This is the only K2 Coupé built and appears to have been on the Allard stand for the 1950 New York International Auto Show. 406ci Cadillac V8 (presumably a hot-rodded Cadillac 365) with a rare Horne 4x2 intake manifold with four Stromberg 97 carburettors on top. This car was offered for sale at the Bonhams auction attached to the 2013 Greenwich Concours d'Elegance, but I don't think it found a buyer then. The engine is coupled to a Turbo Hydramatic automatic transmission and a Dana 60 rear axle. |
