The RM series were the last cars developed by Riley, later cars were badge engineered upmarket BMC saloons. The 1st was the 1945 RMA; a 1500cc saloon replaced in 1952 by the RME, larger back window and in 1954 the running boards were gone. In 1946 the larger RMB saloon with larger 2500cc engine was introduced, replaced in 1952 by the updated RMF. In 1948 the RMC convertible was introduced, replaced in 1949 by the RMD, more of a drophead coupe convertible, also the RMC had scolloped doors. Engine; 2500cc 4 cyl |
