| Description |
English: 1939 Chevrolet Woodie converted by JT Cantrell of Huntington, Long Island, NY. The original ownew (a Dr. Davenport of NYC) had it built so that he could drive the 200 miles to his summer home in Harwich Port, MA. Offered for sale with only 1779 miles on the odometer, which comes out to not even five such round trips. Hm. Restored and what not in 2002; updated to dual cylinder power brakes from a 1947 Chevrolet, now with a more modern GM power steering unit and 12 Volt electrics. 78hp, 216.5ci "Stovebolt" six-cylinder engine. |
