Description General Motors has owned Oldsmobile since 1908. For 1928 Oldsmobile introduced its F series of automobiles. A longer chassis and larger, more powerful 6 cylinder engine set the line apart from its predecessors. The series featured 12 different body styles, ranging from the 2 passenger coupes and roadsters to 5 passenger, 2 door sedans.
