English: Caption text says "Spectacle! The bellicose Bruins may- or may not- win out in the grueling grind toward Pennantville this year, but at the least they will have written into the archives of baseball a season packed with thrills. Here is a remarkable visualization of stirring pageantry in the north side park - the Cubs, officials, and tens of thousands of fans come to cheer on their idols in one of the hair-raising battles that have made crushes at the turnstiles the customary thing throughout the summer. The Cubs were encountering their traditional rivals, the New York Giants."
