British automaker Bentley was founded in 1919 by W.O.Bentley who was known for his World War I rotary aero engines. The company was also well respected for its racing success, by the 1930s was at the top of the British sports car market. The 3 litre was the sports car that put Bentley on the automotive map, a larger car than the Bugattis that it was competing against, but innovative technology and strength made up for its weight. The 3 litre won LeMans in 1924 and again in 1927, this time in Super Sports form. This car features Park Ward Tourer coachwork Engine; 70hp 2996cc 4 cylinder.
