Summary
[edit]Description1921 New Brunswick License Plate 12153.jpg |
English: A New Brunswick License Plate from 1921. Numbered 12153. The last of the famous Canadian license plate manufacturers the MacDonald Manufacturing Company. these flat plates were made of a,thin steel sheeting crimped over onto a wire frame. The MacDonald plates were first issued in 1912 in Ontario, the last issue is this one, NB 1921.
Other plates made with the wire frame by the MacDonald Manufacturing Company were... B.C. 1915, 1916 1917? ALBERTA 1914, 1915 SASKATCHEWAN 1915, 1916 MANITOBA 1915, 1916 ONTARIO 1912, 1913, 1914, 1915, 1916 NOVA SCOTIA 1918? 1919 P.E.I. 1918 NEW BRUNSWICK 1918, 1919, 1920, 1921 I am not sure if the the (?) 1917 BC and the 1918 Nova Scotia are of the wire style MacDonald Manufacturing Company license plates. I know the B.C. 1917 was made with thin gauge steel over a top reinforcing wire only. |
