Description
English: Early map of the Boston Elevated Railway system, dividing the system into sectors served by the various rapid transit lines. The map is from between 1909 (Main Line Elevated opening to Forest Hills) and 1912 (Cambridge Subway opening). The map includes two lines - the Riverbank Subway and the Charlestown Elevated extension to Malden Center - that were never completed.
