| Description |
English: 184th Bomb Wing - Rockwell B-1B Lancer Lot IV 85-0081 nosegear collapsed at Diego Garcia Dec 14, 2004. This caused
the B-1 fleet to be grounded pending inspection of the nose landing gear. The plane had taken off from Diego Garcia on the way back to Ellsworth but was forced to return due to an abnormal nose landing gear indication. It landed and taxied back to its parking spot, idled for a while, then the nose just fell to the ground. |
