Cedric Pringle, left, commander, Expeditionary Strike Group (ESG) 3, describes bridge operations to London Breed, mayor of San Francisco, during a tour of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) as part of San Francisco Fleet Week 2018. San Francisco Fleet Week is an opportunity for the American public to meet their Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard teams and experience America’s sea services. During fleet week, service members participate in various community service events, showcase capabilities and equipment to the community, and enjoy the hospitality of San Francisco and its surrounding areas.
