Description
English: A 17th century copper alloy trade token issued by Martha Forde of Dover. Very worn and corroded and most of the detail / inscription can only be seen using a strong magnifier. The obverse has flowers / plant in central field with the inscription MARTHA * FORDE * The reverse central field is illegible with only the visible inscription )16 ( ) DOV ( ) This will almost certainly be 1659 IN DOVAR.
