Description 170313-N-JI086-315 - MEDITERRANEAN SEA (March 13, 2017) Cmdr. Andria Slough, commanding officer of the guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78), right, observes as a P-8A Poseidon performs a fly over during a photo exercise at the start of Exercise Dynamic Manta 2017, March 13. Dynamic Manta is an annual multilateral Allied Maritime Command (MARCOM) exercise meant to develop interoperability and proficiency in anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare. Porter, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe.
