Description
English: Passing the review stand is the 164th Infantry Regiment of the North Dakota National Guard with the Third Battalion leading. Photograph dates from 1941. Deployed in early 1942, the regiment was among the first American army units rushed to the South Pacific to stop the advancing Japanese Imperial Army.
