Description
English: 164 Church Street/12 Grape Lane Built in 1635. Timber framed and jettied cottage with rendered masonry filling. One of a continuous run of three houses along the Crossgate section of Church Street. The corner property has been extensively rebuilt to the same design as original due to progressive collapse in the early 20th century. Grade II listed. Subject of Yorkshire Vernacular Buildings Study no. 1380.
