English: NAVAL BASE KITSAP-BREMERTON, Wash. (July 25, 2016) – Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) Airman Apprentice Caleb J. Pagaduan receives a Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal from Adm. Bill Moran, Vice Chief of Naval Operations, on the flight deck of USS Nimitz (CVN 68) for responding to an electrical shock victim on the pier. Pagaduan assisted in moving the victim clear of a hazardous area, as well as clearing foot traffic while securing the scene. His quick and decisive actions in directing emergency responders provided immediate assistance in saving the contractor's life. Nimitz is currently undergoing an extended planned incremental maintenance availability at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility where the ship is receiving scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
