Description

Ryan Murphy, architect, Master Planning Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, removes old mortar from the exterior of the Cockspur Island Lighthouse, April 1. Murphy, along with volunteers from the local chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA Savannah), and students from the Savannah College of Art and Design, assisted Fort Pulaski National Monument staff in restoring the lighthouse.
