160308-A-IA672-317 ERBIL, Iraq (March 8, 2016) Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Adm. John Richardson addresses sailors assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 5 during a visit to Erbil, Iraq. Richardson visited the squadron in order to talk with the sailors and observe their capabilities as they support Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR). CJTF-OIR aims to train and equip Iraqi Security Forces to fight the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant while leveraging U.S. and coalition airpower to halt the terrorist’s momentum.
