| Description |
English: 14 West 4th Street, also known as 258 Mercer Street, in the NoHo neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City was built from 1894-95 as a store and lofts, and was designed by J. Kastner in the Romanesque Revival style. It has a cast iron facade over brick with terra cotta embellishment, and is part of the NoHo Historic District. Since the 1980s it has been a cooperative apartment building. (Source: Presa, Donald G. et al.
