English: 14. Roof Shingle Installation. |
||||
Description |
English: The house is surrounded by red metal scaffolding that has platforms on multiple levels so the workers can reach the wooden roof tresses. The brick house is on the left of the photo. Two NPS workers are crawling on the roof on the front side of the house while another stands on the scaffolding below them to hand them more shingles. Construction tools litter the ground around the bottom of the house. There are many tall green trees in the background and the sky is blue with cotton-like clouds. NPS preservationists climb onto the roof and nail in the shingles one at a time.
