On August 30, 2012, soldiers with 138th Chemical Company of the Georgia National Guard direct an injured civilian role player to the decontamination tent during an emergency hazardous material (HAZMAT) scenario, part of the Vigilant Guard Exercise, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. The Vigilant Guard is a joint interagency exercise to test military and civilian medical, chemical, and engineer capabilities in successfully reacting to a hazardous material (HAZMAT) emergency situation.
