Ed Cooperider, crew chief with the 121st Air Refueling Wing, awaits final pre-flight checks before clearing the Ohio Air National Guard KC-135 Stratotanker ready to fly a refueling sortie at NATO Air Base Geilenkirchen, Germany. on Nov. 12, 2019. Approximately 50 Airmen from the 121st ARW traveled to Geilenkirchen, Germany to fulfill the Air National Guard refueling mission, supporting the NATO E-3A AWACS component.
