Description U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (Sept. 23, 2014) – An SA-330J Puma lifts pallets from the flight deck of the USNS Amelia Earhart (T-AKE-6) for delivery to the three ship Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) during a vertical replenishment- at-sea, Sept. 23. The 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit is deployed with the Makin Island ARG as a theater reserve and crisis response force throughout U.S. Central Command and the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
