Description
English: The 11th Navy-to-Navy Staff Talks between Indian Navy (IN) and Royal Australian Navy (RAN) were conducted at Canberra, Australia from 21 to 23 November 2017. The IN delegation was led by Rear Admiral Dhiren Vig, Assistant Chief of the Naval Staff (Foreign Cooperation and Intelligence) and the RAN delegation was led by Rear Admiral Michael J Noonan, Deputy Chief of Navy. A wide range of bilateral navy-to-navy issues of mutual interest were discussed during the Staff Talks. The IN delegation also visited the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne and paid homage to the soldiers who laid their lives during the two World Wars.
