English: 11th Airborne Division staff comprised of U.S. Army, Air Force, and Swedish 1st Division service members stand in a joint formation as part of Swift Response 24, May 12, 2024 in Skillingaryd, Sweden. Swift Response 24 is a U.S. Army Europe-led exercise focused on the strategic deployment of continental United States-based forces, employment of Army prepositioned stocks, and interoperability with Allies and partners. Taking place from May 5 to May 17, Swift Response 24 demonstrates 11th Airborne Division’s ability to rapidly project power, provide command and control assets, and build new partnerships with the Swedish military.
