תיאור: קיבוץ נחל עוז - ראש הממשלה מר דוד בן גוריון ביער אסף שמחוני
הערות: נַחַל עוֹז קיבוץ במערב הנגב הצפוני. היישוב הדרומי והמערבי ביותר במועצה האזורית שער הנגב. הוקם ב- 1951 כהיאחזות הנח"ל הראשונה בישראל, בשם נחלאים א' - מול עזה. 2.5 ק"מ מעזה. הקימו בני מספר מחלקות מהנח"ל. ב 1952 נקראה ההיאחזות "כפר עזה". ב 1953 אוזרחה ההיאחזות על ידי גרעין נח"ל של בני רחובות, קריית חיים ותל אביב של התנועה המאוחדת. בשנותיו הראשונות היו הרבה מהתקפות פידאיון ופגזים נחתו בשטח. ב-7 באוקטובר 2023, נכבש הקיבוץ על ידי מחבלים פלסטינים שרצחו וחטפו לעזה רבים מבין אזרחיו, הרסו ובזזו בתים.
