Name: Honin Citadel, Moshav Margaliot
Description: Honin Citadel ("Chateau-Nef" Citadel) is a fort near the town of Margaliot in the Upper Galilee, established about 1,000 years ago by the Crusaders in the heights of the Naftali Mountains. The citadel sat on the important trade route that led from Damascus to Tire - and overlooked the border of their kingdom in the Hula Valley.
