תיאור: במתחם מצפה ביריה
הערות: בִּירִיָּה - יישוב חילוני-דתי בגליל העליון ליד צפת במועצה אזורית מרום הגליל. על שמה של העיירה התלמודית ביריא, ששכנה סמוך. עד 1948 היה בסמוך כפר ערבי "ביריא". קרוב מצויה מצודת ביריה בה אירעו האירועים המכונים העלייה לביריה במאבק בשלטונות המנדט הבריטי. ב1945 עלו על הקרקע חברי המחלקה הדתית של הפלמ"ח, בוגרי בני עקיבא. ביריה הוקמה סביב טירה במתכונת חומה ומגדל. ב 1946 מצאו חיילי הצבא הבריטי סליק סמוך ועצרו את כל שוכני היישוב. במקומם הוצבו במקום נוטרים ויחידה של הצבא הבריטי. לבסוף פונו הבריטים.
