Name: Jerusalem Beit Eliezer Ben Yehuda
Description: Beit Ben-Yehuda is the home of Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, a Hebrew language activist who was built in 1922. Eliezer Ben-Yehuda died shortly before the house was completed and did not get to move to his new residence. His wife Hamda lived at home with the children until she died in 1951. Over the years Hamda turned the place into a center for commemorating his work.

תיאור: בית בן-יהודה הוא ביתו של אליעזר בן-יהודה, מחיה השפה העברית אשר נבנה ב-1922.אליעזר בן-יהודה נפטר זמן קצר לפני שהבית הושלם ולא זכה לעבור למעונו החדש. אשתו חמדה גרה בבית עם הילדים עד שנפטרה ב-1951. במהלך השנים הפכה חמדה את המקום למרכז להנצחת מפעלו.
הערות: כעבור שנים מספר מכרה המשפחה את הבית לעיריית ירושלים. לימים הוסכם שתכולת הבית תימסר לאקדמיה ללשון העברית לשם הקמת יד לאליעזר בן-יהודה בבית האקדמיה. יד בן-יהודה נחנכה בינואר 1973ב-1965 השכירה העירייה את הבית לדיירים פרטיים, ובשנת 1971 החליט ראש העיר טדי קולק, למסור אותו תמורת דמי שכירות סמליים לארגון המתנדבים הגרמני "אות הכפרה והשלום". הארגון מביא ארצה צעירים ומבוגרים מגרמניה לעבודה בהתנדבות במוסדות סעד ורווחה ובמפעלי הנצחת השואה במטרה לכפר על פשעי הנאצים. הבית משמש את מטה הארגון בישראל.(ויקיפדיה
