הערות: מתוך סדרת נופי צומח פרחים של עוזי פז. עליו דמויי סרגל, ישרים וזקופים. פורח בעיצומו של חורף, מנובמבר עד ינואר. העלים הם בעלי חתוך מרובע. גדל בבתה, בקרקעות ים-תיכוניות אדומות. נפוץ בפרטים בודדים בעיקר בכרמל, גם בדרום הגולן (מצוק האון) ובגליל, ועד לדרום הרי יהודה (הר עמשא). הצמח מוגן.
