Name: Ein Shemer Beit Elimelech
Description: The building that was inaugurated in 1950 was designed by a Cuba and is intended to commemorate the memory of Elimelech Shtrakman, who fell while trying with his friends to break through a siege imposed by the British in 1945 on Kibbutz Givat Haim.

תיאור: המבנה שנחנך ב-1950 תוכנן על ידי קובה גבר יועד להנציח את זכרו של אלימלך שטרקמן, שנפל בעת שניסה עם חבריו לפרוץ מצור שהטילו הבריטים ב 1945 על קיבוץ גבעת חיים.האמן נתן רפופורט יצר תבליט של של אנשי ההגנה מורידים סירת מעפילים אל חופי ישראל.
הערות: עֵין שֶׁמֶר הוא קיבוץ סמוך לפרדס חנה-כרכור השייך למועצה אזורית מנשה.ב-1927 הוקם היישוב על אדמות קק"ל. מייסדי הקיבוץ היו קבוצת "עין גנים", חניכי השומר הצעיר בפולין. עין שמר הוא אחד מארבעת הקיבוצים שהקימו את תנועת הקיבוץ הארצי.במאורעות תרצ"ו-תרצ"ט סבל הקיבוץ מהתקפות ירי ומהתנכלויות. ב-28 באפריל 1938 נרצחו שני חברים בהתקפה על הקיבוץ.בשנותיו הראשונות התבסס הקיבוץ כלכלית בעיקר על ענפים חקלאיים. בשנת 1959 פותח זן של תפוח בשם "ענה" על ידי חבר הקיבוץ אבא שטיין.עין שמר הופרט ב 2012 ומוגדר כ"קיבוץ מתחדש".
