Description: An ancient underground structure in the southeast corner of the Temple Mount consisting of vaults probably from the 8th century that was based on stones taken from the ruins of the Temple Mount - the name from the Crusader period, is incorrect. The Waqf built the Marwan Mosque in this space

תיאור: מבנה תת- קרקעי קדום בפינה הדרום מזרחית של הר הבית המורכב מקמרונות כנראה מהמאה ה-8 שהתבסס על אבנים שנלקחו מחורבות הר הבית- השם מהתקופה הצלבנית, שגוי. הוואקף הקים בחלל זה את מסגד מרוואן
הערות: המבנה מדמה את המסד שבנה המלך הורדוס ועליו הקים את בית המקדש והמבנים הסמוכים לו. המסד נהרס עם חורבן הבית והוקם מחדש כנראה בתקופה האומאית.
