English: Name: Kfar Hasidim, the cooling house Description: The cold store in the Kfar Hasidim settlement was designed by the architect Aryeh Sharon and built in 1942, with funds from the members of the settlement, to store agricultural produce - potatoes and apples from the farmers of the village and the surrounding area. During the War of Liberation it was also used as a place to store weapons. After preservation it is now used as an archive and heritage preservation center. עברית: שם: כפר חסידים בית הקירור תיאור: בית הקירור במושב כפר חסידים תוכנן על ידי האדריכל אריה שרון ונבנה ב-1942, מכספי חברי המושב, כדי לאחסן תוצרת חקלאית – תפוחי אדמה ותפוחי עץ של חקלאי הכפר והסביבה. במלחמת השחרור שימש גם כמקום אחסון נשק.לאחר שימור משמש כיום כארכיון ומרכז שימור מורשת. הערות: כפר חסידים נוסד ב 1924 עי עולי פולין מהעלייה הרביעית , חסידי הרב יחזקאל טאוב והרב ישראל הופשטיין, הם קנו קרקע מזרחית למפרץ חיפה בעזרת רבי ישעיהו שפירא מהפועל המזרחי והקימו את נחלת יעקב ועבודת ישראל, שלימים התמזגו לכפר חסידים. בשנת 1925 רכשה האגודה לקולוניזציה יהודית פלסטינית 70 פדנים מאלכסנדר סורסוק, כחלק מסדרה גדולה יותר של רכישות קרקע ממשפחת סורסוק מביירות. באותה עת התגוררו בה 50 משפחות. ב 1945 היו בכפר חסידים 980 תושבים, כולם יהודים(ויקיפדיה) מיקום: כפר חסידים קובץ מקורי: DSC05001.JPG |
