הערות: נהריים הוא אתר היסטורי בבקעת הירדן, בין ישראל לבין ממלכת ירדן, סמוך ליישובים מנחמיה ואשדות יעקב. המתחם נמצא על גדות שני נהרות – נהר הירמוך ונהר הירדן – וזהו מקור השם. למרות שהאזור היה חלק מהמנדט הבריטי על עבר הירדן, הם הסכימו להקמת תחנת כוח הידרואלקטרית ביוזמת פנחס רוטנברג. עבודת הבנייה של המפעל בנהריים הייתה עבודה עברית של 600 פועלים. העבודה החלה באוגוסט 1927 וב- 9 ביוני 1932, נחנך האתר באופן רשמי. התחנה פעלה בשנים 1932–1948.
