Description
Français : Lille (France - département du Nord) — Carte postale et plan d'accompagnement permettant de mieux appréhender les espaces de l'ancien Palais de Justice, du bras disparu de la Basse Deûle et de l'ancienne version du Pont-Neuf, visible au loin sur le cliché.
Sur la gauche on aperçoit deux bouches de sortie des eaux. Nous pouvons penser qu'il s'agit de l'embouchure du canal de la Monnaie*. La force motrice des eaux de ce canal permettait de mouvoir la roue à aubes du moulin sis rue de la monnaie et dont des vestiges sont encore visibles.
