| Description |
English: 10 February 2014. A small pit, rather than a pothole in Lordship Lane N22 near the junction with Westbury Avenue. Despite the hole gradually getting larger for at least a couple of months.
Subsequently, going past on the bus, it looked like it had been repaired a second time. If so, I'd make a guess at the reason. The metal plate shown seemed to be curved. I wondered if it would flex when vehicles drove over it. If so, the "plug" of tarmac filling the hole may be loosened and begin letting in water and breaking up once more. I may be wrong.
