English:
Name: Nirim Monument (Dangor)
Description: In this place, called Dangur, Kibbutz Nirim lived since its establishment at the end of 1946. During the War of Independence in 1948, the members fiercely defended their home from the attacks of the Egyptians who invaded the country, and succeeded in their mission despite their small number and poor weapons. The kibbutz was destroyed in the battles, and after the war was rebuilt about 12 km "m north of here.

תיאור: במקום זה, הקרוי דנגור, ישב קיבוץ נירים מאז הקמתו בסוף 1946. במלחמת העצמאות ב-1948 הגנו החברים בחירוף נפש על ביתם מהתקפות המצרים שפלשו לארץ, והצליחו במשימה למרות מספרם המועט ונשקם הדל.הקיבוץ נהרס בקרבות, ולאחר המלחמה נבנה מחדש כ-12 ק"מ צפונה מכאן.
