תיאור: מושב כפר ויתקין - תחילת הדרך
הערות: כְּפַר-וִיתְקִין - מושב עובדים במועצה אזורית עמק חפר. ע"ש יוסף ויתקין, איש חינוך, מראשוני תנועת העבודה. היישוב הראשון שהוקם בעמק חפר. ב 1930 עלתה קבוצה בת 20 חברים והתיישבה בבית האבן שהיה באזור מתקופת אנטואן בשארה טאיאן, בעל הקרקעות לבנונישהתגורר ביפו - בית-הראשונים. קיבלו הלוואה מהסוכנות לצורך קיומם בשנים הראשונות. עבדו כשכירים בחדרה ובנתניה וקצת בחקלאות. ב 1931–1932 הגיעו משפחות נוספות. והונחה אבן היסוד להקמת הכפר. הם הקימו את המזח שבחוף בית ינאי עליו נערכו העפלה והברחות נשק ללוחמי המחתרות.
