Description: This house is the last remnant of the founders houses in Petah Tikva. Beit Elishiov was initially the home of the founder Yehuda Rab and was built by him in 1900.

תיאור: בית זה הוא השריד האחרון לבתי המייסדים בפתח תקוה. בית אלישיוב היה בתחילה ביתו של המייסד יהודה ראב ונבנה על ידו בשנת 1900. בתחילה גר יהודה עם משפחתו בצריף ברחוב פנסקר, תיאור הבית מופיע בסיפוריה של המשוררת אסתר ראב,שגדלה בבית זה.המקום מוזנח ונטוש.
הערות: יהודה בן אלעזר ראב נולד בהונגריה ב1858. היה תלמיד חכם. עסק בחקלאות מנעוריו. חונך לאהבת הארץ מילדותו. השתלם בחקלאות לפני עליתו. עלה ארצה בשנת תרל"ה והתיישב זמנית בירושלים. הצטרף לקבוצת מייסדי פתח-תקוה. שימש במושבה כשומר הראשון והדריך מתיישבים בהלכות חקלאות בפתח-תקוה, ראשון-לציון ונס-ציונה. היה ראש השותפות של ה"ביאליסטוקאים". עשה רבות למען שיקומה של פתח-תקוה. עסק בעבודה צבורית. פתח משק מגוון למופת. פרסם מאמרים מקצועיים בשטח החקלאות. רשם זכרונות. נפטר בשיבה טובה בשנת תש"ז(מוזיאון ראשונים פ"ת)
