שם: בית ויצמן - רחובות
תיאור: בית ויצמן והחצר הסמוכה במכון ויצמן למדע ברחובות
הערות: בית ויצמן, וילה מרווחת, נבנה ב־1936 וניצב על גבעה מכוסה בשוליי מכון ויצמן ברחובות. הבית עבר שימור בסוף שנות ה-90 ומשקף את מראה הבית כפי שהיה בימי חייהם של הזוג ויצמן. הוא ואשתו ורה, רופאת ילדים במקצועה, רכשו שטח של 44 דונם מכספם הפרטי והקימו עליו את ביתם. את התכנון עשה האדריכל אריך מנדלסון, יהודי־גרמני שזו הייתה עבודתו הראשונה בישראל. לעיצוב הפנים הייתה אחראית ורה ויצמן, אשת הנשיא, שהביאה פריטים רבים בסגנון אנגלי כפרי בני הזוג תרמו את הבית והאחוזה למדינה והבית הפך למוזיאון.
