English: Name: Petah Tikva the Great Synagogue Description: The interior of the synagogue, Beit Yaakov, which is the main synagogue of the city of Petah Tikva. The synagogue was named after James (Yakob) Meir Rothschild, the father of Baron Edmond James de Rothschild. The synagogue was designed by Daniel HaCohen Lipshitz, one of the first settlers in Petach Tikva. עברית: שם: פתח תקווה בית הכנסת הגדול תיאור: פנים בית הכנסת,בית יעקב, שהוא בית הכנסת המרכזי של העיר פתח תקווה. בית הכנסת נקרא על שם ג'יימס (יעקב) מאיר רוטשילד, אביו של הברון אדמונד ג'יימס דה רוטשילד.את בית הכנסת תכנן דניאל הכהן ליפשיץ, מהמתיישבים הראשונים בפתח תקווה. הערות: בית הכנסת מורכב מאולם מרכזי גדול ממדים ומעליו עזרת נשים. משני צידי הכניסה הראשית ישנם שני אולמות תפילה קטנים וברחבת הכניסה ישנו חדר נוסף המשמש גם כ"אולם קידושים" וככולל אברכים. התוספת נבנתה על ידי הנדיב מאיר כוכב זסלבסקי.בשנת 1990 תרם מנחם נחמנוביץ', אחד מהמתפללים, דלתות כניסה לאולם הגדול של בית הכנסת. בדלתות משובצים שנים-עשר ויטראז'ים המציגים את שנים-עשר שבטי ישראל, מעשה ידיה של האמנית יהודית יהלום.במהלך שנת 2018 החל שיפוץ בית הכנסת בעלות עשרות מיליון ש"ח.באולם בית הכנסת היה סליק (ויקיפדיה) מיקום: חובבי ציון 37 פתח תקווה קובץ מקורי: DSC03242.JPG |
