תיאור: קיבוץ יראון - תחילת הדרך
הערות: יִרְאוֹן - קיבוץ במועצה האזורית הגליל העליון בתנועה הקיבוצית המאוחדת. על שם יִרְאוֹן המקראית "ויראון ומגדל אל-הרם" (יהושע י"ט ל"ח). הוקם ב 1949 בידי יוצאי חטיבת יפתח - הפלמ"ח, יוצאי גדוד מוריה ובוגרי תנועת הנוער דרור - החלוץ שעלו ממצרים. יוצאי הפלמ"ח, היו חבריהם של הנופלים בכיבוש מצודת כ"ח. במשך השנים הצטרפו גרעינים מתנועת הנוער העובד והלומד, מתנועת הצופים, בני קיבוצים ומשפחות מהארץ ומחו"ל. בקיבוץ מספר מפעלים וביניהם: פסקל טכנולוגיות, פסקל רוכסנים, רהיטי יראון, יקב הרי הגליל משתלת אלון.
