הערות: רִאשׁוֹן לְצִיּוֹן -ממוקמת במישור החוף מדרום לתל אביב. העיר נוסדה ב-31 ביולי 1882. היא הוקמה כמושבה חקלאית ציונית שהקימו אנשי העלייה הראשונה. מקור השם "ראשון לציון" מספר ישעיהו: רִאשׁוֹן לְצִיּוֹן הִנֵּה הִנָּם וְלִירוּשָׁלַ‍ִם מְבַשֵּׂר אֶתֵּן" בראשון לציון עוצב דגל ישראל; חודשה התרבות העברית בשפה ובחינוך. ב-1920 הוכרזה כמועצה מקומית וב-1950 הוכרזה כעיר ואם בישראל. בסוף המאה ה-20 התרחבה העיר מערבה וצפונה וגדלה , והפכה לאחת הערים הגדולות בישראל. בעיר פעלו יקבי כרמל כ130 שנה..
