Description
Nederlands: Het 'Joods Scholieren Monument' in 's-Hertogenbosch is opgericht ter nagedachtenis aan de leerlingen en docenten van de joodse lagere school en het Joodsch Lyceum, die tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog zijn omgebracht. Dit door Marijke Theunissen ontworpen gedenkteken was een initiatief van Marijke Bus en werd op 28 april 1995 onthuld. Gewoonlijk staat het beeld met voetstuk op een tegelvloer in de Casinotuin, maar in verband met bouwwerkzaamheden is het monument tijdelijk verplaatst naar Bastion Sint-Antonie aan de Hekellaan en heeft men de hardstenen tegelvloer, in de vorm van een davidster, achterwege gelaten.
