Description WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Nov. 03, 2010) – Employees from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District assemble portable flood-water barriers during a product demonstration at a Corps facility here Nov. 3. When filled with sand or rock, the series of interlocking metal cells lined with special material form flood-water barriers. The metal cells were one of three new products being tested by Corps employees for future use in emergency and disaster operations. (U.S. Army Photo/Todd Plain)
