This media shows the natural monument in Upper Austria with the ID nd542.

Naturschutzbuch Bezeichnung: Eiche in Hütting. Kategorie Naturdenkmal. Naturschutzbuch-Nummer: nd542. Beschreibung: Eiche; In etwa 3 m Höhe verzweigt sich der Stamm in 6 Hauptäste die bereits Stärken bis zu 2 m Umfang aufweisen. Lage: Sie befindet sich auf einem durch Auwald umschlossenen landwirtschaftlichen Gebiet und ist über die Zufahrt durch die Ortschaft Hütting zu finden. Anmerkung: Nach dem Donauhochwasser 2002 wurden im Zuge der Verwirklichung des Hochwasserschutzprojekts Machland Nord die rund fünfzig bestehenden Wohngebäude in Hütting abgerissen, sodass man nun rund um die Eiche vorwiegend nur mehr landwirtschaftliche Gebiete vorfindet. Die Dateibezeichnung >1000 jährig< ist weiters wohl irrig. Die Eiche kann nicht so alt sein.
